Transformation begins when you come back to your body

A practice of breath, movement, and conscious connection with water that supports the reorganization of your internal state through direct embodied experience.

Hi, I’m Juliana Mendonca

I guide transformation through the body

I am a dancer, teacher and choreographer with over 20 years of experience in movement, somatic research and working with water as a medium for transformation and self-awareness.

My work integrates dance, improvisation and contact practices, along with breathwork, yoga and Ayurveda—exploring the body as a living system of regulation, perception and change.

Through this path, I developed Aquatic Intelligence, an approach that integrates breath, movement and body awareness to reorganize the internal state.

Today, I guide people to regulate their nervous system, reconnect with their body and cultivate emotional balance, vitality, pleasure and creativity through breath, movement and the direct experience of water within the body.

I invite you to return to your body and invigorate your water with me.

The Principles of Aquatic Intelligence

Your body does not need to be controlled.

It needs to be listened to, inhabited, and felt with awareness.

Breathe

Regulate your nervous system and open space for calm, presence, and inner connection.

Move

Activate the fascia and the fluid system, awakening the body’s energy and reorganizing it from within.

Develop inner sensitivity and allow the body to listen, reorganize, and transform.

Sense

"I was living in tension without realizing it… until I learned to feel my body

I felt disconnected from my body and overwhelmed with mental load. Through breath and movement, I began to perceive sensations I hadn’t felt in a long time. My body slowly started to release, my breath changed, and a deep sense of calm, vitality and clarity emerged.

No. The practices are designed to meet you where you are. You don’t need experience in movement or breathwork just a willingness to explore your body.

Do I need to know how to swim or be in water?

Not necessarily. You can work in water or on land. The practice adapts to different contexts while maintaining the focus on perception, breath and nervous system regulation.

What will I experience in a session?
